We are a full service fly shop located in Missoula, MT, just 3 miles from the mouth of the Bitterroot. It is our first river to get going in the spring, with hatches in March and April, and then, starting in mid June and going through mid October, the ‘Root has multiple hatches. There is excellent dry fly fishing on this river 7 months a year, and during the low water times, it is pretty easy to wade. We carry all the hatch matching flies needed for the Bitterroot, as well as the other flies that work here as well.
