Fishing in the river has been up and down due to the changing wind dirrections. NW winds are not the most favord winds. The SW sometimes shuts the fishing down. In NW winds go very deep near structure. fly patterns change as well. Bright attractors and heavy sinking lines. SW winds are your best bets for good fishing. Go back to standard patterns and fast retreives this time of year. Baits are escaping from bass and blues and stricks are aggressive.
