Bluefish are showing up in the river so be prepared to loose flies or use wire tippets. Ther are larger stripers being caught on small flies shuch as the Flat wing or Ray's fly. The concentration of bait is largely sandeels and silversides. The birds are tel tail sign that the bait is small. Terns can only eat small bait and the gulls eat bigger baits.
