Fishing has been tough inside the Essex. Fish the cannnels and the mouth of the river for best luck. Watch for birds feeding on bait. Terns will tell you where the concentration of bait is... Find areas where boats have not spooked the fish and fish the incoming tides on the edges of cannels.
