Very dry weather so far this spring has put the Lamoille at very low levels for this time of year.  The state has stocked 200 of its "trophy" browns below Fairfax Falls late last week, but thats it so far.  Fishing deep may pick up the odd wild brown upstream.  The wild rainbows are busy spawning, so pleae leave them alone if you see any.  Hatches and decent fishing should start around the beginning of May.
