River Report for G.R.Colford & Sons Limited on the Main SW Miramichi River. Mild weather at last. Some parts of the river are showing melting at the shore lines. And its calling for snow and rain tomorrow, lets hope more rain than snow.

 But its getting down to the wire with the season opener on the 15th. Most local fisherman along the river are saying the ice will not be out by the 15th. It just depends on the weather if we are to wet a line for the first time of the season I guess.

New rules for the spring salmon fishing season April 15th to May 15th including, only single hooks and they must be barbless. The daily limit is 10 fish per day total unless you tag 1 and then you are done for the day.
