Should we try to overcome our primal urges by turning the other cheek? A preposterous idea I think. Fishing is a perfect example. Fish are predators, and so am I. I love the pulsing of a fish fighting for its life. Nature gave me intellect to be a better predator, not to make me a better person.

A few weeks ago while visiting my local fly shop I came upon a book about the history of the Bogdan reels. These high end fly fishing reels are synonymous with Atlantic salmon fishing.
