The Salty Feather is a full-service fly fishing center that has been serving N. E. Florida since 1994 offering a full array of flies, rods, reels, light tackle, kayaks, lines, leaders, fly tying tools, fly tying materials, accessories, gadgets, clothing, books, videos, gift items and much more. You can charter a guided full or half day fly fishing trip with one of our expert local guides. We also offer fly fishing classes year round. Our instructors are FFF- certified casting instructors. Seminars and workshops are geared to the local area and fish. Fly tying classes are offered throughout the year for beginning and advanced tiers and feature many local patterns. Our philosophy is that we can best serve our customers only if we know first hand where the fish are, what equipment works best under different conditions, and what flies or lures are effective. The Salty Feather staff consists of U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains that are on the water each and every week. We tie our own flies and have created many original patterns for our local waters. We field test new items in the same conditions you might encounter.
