The Toccoa Tailrace is really turning out some great days on the water. Some big Bow's and Browns are being caught with # 20-24 BWO Emergers and Gray Midges. Stripping Olive Buggers has also been working well on overcast days. The Delayed Harvest Section has been fishing well also, fat rainbows are hanging deep in the cold of early morning making nymph rigs of Pheasant Tails, Micro Mayflies, Hare's Ears and Lightning Bugs in sizes 16-20 the ticket. When the water warms 1 or 2 degrees there will usually be some fish feeding on emerging Blue Winged Olives and Midges in the film. Fish carefully and methodically these fish won't move very far to take the fly. Stop in our Blue Ridge Shop were only minutes from the river. David Hulsey
