Because we have recieved so much rain in the Ozarks the lakes are full to capacity and there is flooding down river. Due to the flooding in agriculture areas mid state, the corps is doing what they can to control the situation. For this reason Bull Shoals lake has been at minimum flow levels for several days now. This has made for some fantastic fishing conditions. Coupled with the fact that most people have not made their usual fishing trip this time of year because of flood conditions over most of the state we are enjoying low angling pressure as well. How long this will last is anybodies guess and is dependent on more significant rain events. I expect the tail water below Bull to be low for another ten days. We shall see. After that I expect high water fo several months.
