All time record lake elevations have required the opening of emergency flood gates each time a significant rainfall occurs.  As a result we must fish from the boat, use a lot of weight, and bright colored flies as a rule. Navigation of the system demands close attention to current conditions. Perfect drifts are a challange but more neccesary than usual if fish are to be caught. And fish can be caught! The flow is very fast so sink tip rigs are not very effective. Large indicators are used with Lots of Weight 12 to 14 feet down.
